Meet the Artist

Lindanne Phillips is a multidisciplinary, award-winning artist from Hayden, Alabama. After retiring from teaching secondary art in Jefferson County Schools, she continues to share her lifelong passion for creativity through her own artwork and teaching.

Lindanne specializes in unique pottery and ceramic sculpture-particularly dogs, animals, children, narrative pieces and reliquary vessels. Her one-of-a-kind creations are held in collections throughout the United States and beyond. Guided by curiosity and imagination, she enjoys exploring new artistic ideas and believes, “If you can imagine it, I can create it.”

Throughout the year, Lindanne teaches pottery and sculpture classes in her studio, guiding student from basic construction techniques to complex and imaginative works of art. Contact her for information about classes, commissions and available art work. Lindanne’s gallery is open by appointment.
